 Attach Business Process Flow (BPF) in Model-Driven Power Apps


What is Business Process Flow?

  1. Business Process Flow is also known as BPF.
  2. BPF is responsible for the overall performance of the model-driven app.
  3. The model-Driven heart is its BPF.
  4. It makes model-driven very simple.
  5. When we have to perform the role-based thing in our enterprise then we have to go with BPF.
  6. When we are following some process where one process is completed after another comes and fills the information at that time BPF suits based for our organization. 

Prerequisites for attaching BPF?

  1. Create a Solution with the necessary tables and customize the table's form and views.
  2. Create the model-driven application.
  3. Create and activate the BPF.
  4. Attach the BPF to the model-driven form that we previously created.

How to attach the BPF to the model-driven form that we previously created?

1.) These are the prerequisites to attach the model-driven app

2.) Click on model-driven app and go to Edit mode.

3.) Now click on three ellipses and switch to classic mode. 

4.) Now we are into App Designer Mode. Here click on Business Process Flows

5.) Deselect all and select the one BPF which we have created.

6.) BPF is attached and we can see count as one and in entity view we can see BPF.

7.) Save and close the App Designer.

8.) Now Publish and Play the model-driven app

9.) BPF is 
attached to the model-driven app and we can see the flow.

This is how BPF is linked to a model-driven application.
